ZOOM House Director
Kirstin serves as the ZOOM Director where she is responsible for program administration, grant compliance, and fundraising. She fosters good communication and connections between the board, partners, residents, neighbors and donors. She joined ZOOM in 2014, bringing experience in business, community organizing, and culturally inclusive relationship building. Her deep passion for providing holistic support and community-driven programming has yielded proven developments in the areas of economic stability and mental wellness in under-served populations.
Kirstin earned her B.A. at Metropolitan State University in Individualized Studies with a focus on Culturally Inclusive Approaches to Economic Advocacy and Leadership. Kirstin also serves on the Community Board of the Blaisdell YMCA and the MN Peacebuilding Institute.

Candace joined ZOOM House in 2018. She brings her experience in person-centered advocacy, trauma-informed practice, and a passion for social justice and community integration. Candace strives to instill a sense of personal empowerment in those she serves to create a sense of confidence and independence to achieve their goals. Candace has experience working with people living with mental illness, developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injury. Candace received her Bachelors of Social Work and a Bachelors of Arts in English with a specialization in Creative Writing from the University of South Dakota. She is currently enrolled in the Masters of Social Work with an area of emphasis in Clinical Social Work Expansion from St. Thomas and St. Catherine. In her free time, Candace is an active participant in social justice movements across the Twin Cities.

Laura’s background draws from serving others in various ways including office coordination, management, and volunteering. Her experience includes helping organizations thrive and run smoothly. She effectively provides communication and support with integrity. It is her joy to create a productive, energetic environment and community where everyone thrives. Laura is also very passionate about giving back to the community and serves by teaching yoga that liberates people to move forward authentically. She also volunteers with Ani-Meals, delivering pet food to those in need.
